I'm sorry I keep dong this.

I've been having a really hard time lately, and I managed to land myself in the hospital. I can only use my laptop for a few minutes at a time and as I'll be here for awhile I won't really have much to post about. If I start feeling better soon I may put together some picture posts together from all the old stuff I have backed up. I won't blame anyone for unfollowing, though. Thanks guys, take care.

Games I'm excited about.

So back in August Zach and I went to pax prime, which just so happens to take place at the convention center. We went for all three days and we got to play a lot of different things.

Autumn Recipes: Ham and Cheese Croissants

Hello! I've decided to do a series of recipes to celebrate this season. Most of them are going to be pretty simple, and all of them are use at least a bit of what I learned in pastry school.

This recipe is something the bakery I did my externship at made that was very popular. They made it with homemade croissant dough that was used for all of the croissant products, but that's incredibly time consuming considering that you need to fold in all of the butter by hand. If you prefer to use handmade puff pastry that works too, but I used store bought dough which is actually just fine.

Things to come, what I've been up to.

I have a lot of things to catch up on, lot's of exciting things are happening and lots of fun things have happened. I've been really M.I.A. on this blog, but I'm recommitting to it and I'm going to post regularly as well as revamping the layout. I have been up to a lot and have a lot to post about.

I've been trying new foods (reviews and tutorials to come)

I attended a few cons (I will make a post about my most anticipated games and movies)

I won a giveaway (items to review, including lenses and lashes)

And I graduated! Supposedly there is a ceremony next month that I will be attending.
Also, I have officially become a fan of Doctor Who. I'm still on David Tennant right now, but I can't stop watching it on netflix. It's the first in several shows I plan to watch against better judgment. I hope everyone is well. I apologize for what I hope is the absolute last time for my absence. To be honest I haven't been feeling like myself lately and my mental health has been making a steady decline. I'm trying to get better, but this sort of thing is hard, so please don't hold it against me.

I will do my best to pick this blog out of the garbage and polish it up the best I can, so bear with me!

Thanks for reading ♥

Daiso Therapy.

Hello, you guys. I'm sorry about the giant gap between posts, I know I apologize to much for this, but hopefully I will be able to get in some regular posting through the rest of this year.

Anyway, I've been a little down lately. I had a really stressful last week of term and ended up eating so much that I gained around 7lbs/3kg. It made me really upset and I kept eating, but after a lot of emotional work I'm back on track and determined to finish. I plan to be around 135lbs/61kg by the end of August.

To help me lose weight I decided to get some smaller bowls and things to eat out of. This is a tactic I've always used, but the bowls I had were still a little big and quite honestly, if I get something cute I'm much more likely to use it. So I bought a few things.

Little soup bowls!
Aren't they cute? They're meant for miso soup (which I do enjoy from time to time) but I'm going to eat all of my meals out of them at home to regulate my portions better. The panda one says "I eat a lot" lol. I also got one more thing for my diet.

A smaller bento box!
It's meant for kids, but I was having some anxiety about eating lunch at work and stopped taking a lunch at all. I know I need to eat to keep up my metabolism, and I figured a smaller bento would ease my worries about eating/packing too much a bit. Oh, just so no one is confused, "work" is my unpaid externship (internship). I work in a little production kitchen mixing doughs, making croissants and buns, and filling macarons! I love it but it's very tiring.

I'm so so so sorry. I promise this blog isn't dead.

I've been really busy with school, I'm in my last term and scrambling to get my externship together. We've been working on some pretty big projects and I got sick again recently so I've really been struggling to keep up.

I haven't been doing very much makeup wise because I don't really go anywhere. I have some fun plans lined up for the summer, though, and hopefully after this term my schedule change will give me a little more freedom.

This class only has a few projects, since it's all about cake decorating and centerpieces. We've only done one project so far, and I missed a week of work on it, but I think it came out pretty nice.

An Adventure Time cake!
I'm really happy with it, especially considering that I only had about three days to get all the components together and make the figures and everything. I absolutely dreaded working with fondant but I got full points for the actual surface of the cake. I just wish that Finn's arms hadn't cracked and that I had more time for the side decoration. Points to whoever gets the reference.

I've been really into my health and weight loss, and I've been cooking and baking at home a lot. A few months ago I started a food journal to write down everything I eat and it's really helped me. I'm under 140lbs now and I'm excited to have more clothes in my closet to choose from.

Good things come to those who are impatient.

I woke up at 2:30pm today (night classes ftw), and my mom ran over and pointed to a box on the coffee table. My belt came less than a week after I ordered it. I was so excited. I opened the box, and immediately started freaking out because it was beautiful, but super, ultra short. I didn't unwrap it, knowing it wouldn't fit, and put it around my hips, where it had almost a foot long gap between ends. I got all sad and my mom said I should just sell it on eBay, but she then noticed that it appeared to be folded up in the plastic. She was right, and I am the definition of "derp". Anyway, it fits beautifully and I love it. I had an outfit ready to try it on with (because I'm an obsessive person) and I absolutely, positively am in love.
I cleaned my mirror, and then went downstairs to use my mom's lol.

My jacket was a gift that I originally wasn't that into and that didn't even fit. It's Ed Hardy but I can definitely imagine some outfits with it now. I'm really excited to put some coordinates together with this belt, despite my slapped on makeup and straight wig I really felt gal or the first time today.

Speaking of my wig, and I'll do a proper post for this when I get the chance, I have experienced some problem with it. The hooks on the cap broke and it frizzes way to easily. I have however been able to straighten it with a flat iron very easily and I'm sure that I can just sew a bra strap into it if I want. I usually pin it to my wig cap really well so I don't even really need the straps.

I don't really know what the style I'm doing is called. Is it just rokku? I don't know what it looks like the most, I love Ora-Ora, Kurogal, and Rokku so I don't really care what it looks like I guess. I think this outfit is a good start towards whatever it is that I'm doing. What do you guys think? Do I need to do something different?

Well, thanks for reading! Feel free to give me critiques ♥

Oh wait!

I also got my weave taken out. So you guys get to see my real hair for once.

Ok, for real this time. Thanks for reading! Bye ♥

My adventure with yumetenbo/dreamv.

The weather is getting warmer here, so I've started doing yard work for money again. I'm hoping to get my job/externship in the next month and a half but for now it's just odd jobs for me. Thankfully my mother and other family members like to overpay me so I'm able to save some and still provide myself with a little retail therapy.

I've been looking at multiple items at Dreamv for awhile, but as many people are aware of, the good stuff sells out very fast. It seems that if you want something you have to really be on it. I was first looking at some dresses in this style.

I'm really in love with these, but they are often sold out in my size, even in colors I don't want. This was originally what I was looking for, a hoodie dress with some sort of cute trim, but I kept my eyes open for other things. I'm glad I did because I spotted this.
a D.I.A. inspired belt!
